Interconnection specialists manage one of the most complex pieces, securing access to the grid and navigating utility bottlenecks. Together, these functions handle technical feasibility studies, site layout, electrical design, and interconnection applications, making sure projects can actually deliver power to offtakers once built.
With a focus on the customer side of development, our power marketing and origination teams build relationships with utilities, hyperscalers, corporate buyers, and other offtakers who need long-term renewable supply. They also package projects for potential investors or partners, telling the story of Hanwha Renewables’ capabilities and credibility to secure PPAs, leases, and sales agreements.
Our policy experts track and support the regulatory environment. They work with state and federal agencies, and industry groups to anticipate permitting requirements, tax incentives, interconnection rules, and renewable standards. This function ensures projects stay compliant and competitive while shaping favorable market conditions for growth.
